About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Preschool Administrator to join our team at Tiny Tunes Daycare in Bronx, NY. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our preschool program and providing a nurturing and educational environment for our young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the preschool program
- Manage and support teaching staff
- Develop and implement curriculum and educational activities
- Communicate with parents and address any concerns
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership or administrative role
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with state regulations for preschool programs
- Proven experience in managing office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping, with a strong emphasis on organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with other relevant software applications, enabling efficient document creation, data analysis, and communication.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, parents, and vendors.
- Experience in managing and maintaining student and staff records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions in a dynamic environment.
- Adept at balancing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
- Familiarity with the operational and regulatory requirements of a preschool setting, including compliance with health and safety standards.
